Omnipure Q5586 (10") Filter Replacement Cartridge, For drinking water systems

Suitable for Harveys drinking water systems & many others. An excellent quality filter from Omnipure. This filter has the added benefit of Scale Control as well as GAC to remove Chlorine bad taste and odour and other contaminants.

The Q-Series is without question the easiest replacement cartridge filter system on the market. To replace the cartridge when exhausted simply unscrew (twist anticlockwise) from the filter head, the water automatically (valve in filter head) shuts off, discard the old cartridge, take hold of the new one and remove the yellow plug from end then engage the thread within the filter head and screw in (twist clockwise) to the stop, do not over tighten as the seal is made by O-ring. The valve in the filter head has now opened and the replacement is then complete. No tools. No leaks. No hassles.

Omnipure Q5586 2.5" x 10" GAC & Phosphate cartridge is a granulated activated carbon and ployphosphate filter that removeschlorine to improve taste and odour while reducing scale and lime scale. The Q5586 filter cartridge is for use with the Q-Series filter heads and was also labeled as B5586.
